Hello. I have a 1976 Sunbeam 1600 Super/Hillman Avenger. My car has been in the shop for the past year. After replacing a ton of parts to get it running my brakes broke down. Im searching for a brake master cylinder that would fit. Please help!!!!

Where are you and is it a single line or dual line cylinder?

Im from Slovenia. It is a dual circuit with servo

I'm in NZ and have a RHD dual one. The LHD is different with the pipes on the other side.

It doesnt really matter. I can modify the brake pipes to fit on the other side. Would one from a ford escort mk1 fit?

Yes bolts straight on and also a Mk3 Cortina one..even better if they're LHD cylinders! Other Ford ones fit too..Mk2 Escort, Mk4~5 Cortina, Taunus, Capri but could have 3 outlets = 2 front 1 rear. Just plug one of the front outlets to use in the Avenger..I think they all had a front-rear dual circuit (not diagonal) so won't affect the braking.
