I think I am going to have to skip this year :(

I am going to see Opeth play at the Sydney Opera House that weekend. So excited for that weekend, it will be a total heavy metal blast. Seeing Opeth in Auckland on the Thursday, then Guns n Roses in Auckland on Saturday, then Opeth at the Sydney Opera House on the Monday. The Sydney Opera House concert is a really special show, they are doing 3 shows world wide at major venues, Wembly, Radio City Music Hall and the opera house, to celebrate there new album and the re-release of 2 of their old albums they are playing 2 sets, one set list from their two re-released albums then a normal set list like the one they will do in Auckland. So it will be like 2 concerts in a massive venue.

I am so pumped. I normally fly over to Australia to see Opeth anyway but they usually only play at a little theatre (I have flown over there twice to see them), and it has been about 10 years since their last show in NZ

Made it! Only one small electrical issue too! Coming over Kopu-Hikuai Road (SH25A) Temp gauge started becoming unsettled and jumped all over the place. No signs of overheating however so soldiered on to Hahei and discovered that the wire on the temp gauge had btoken itself. Easy fix
