Nice! & you know you don't need to put 'classics' on hold aye, they get 2 years before they 'drop off' & rego isnt 'continuous'

though that's not a bad habit to get into didn't cost you anything to put on hold anyway :P

I love that about classics. Both my 75 Avenger and 72 Charger both ran out of rego last month. I will probably go get a WoF for the Avenger this week, but I will probably leave the Charger until summer.

Can't wait until my 80 wagon hits 40 years old. Only about another 16 months to go.

Idea for roadtrip tomorrow - weather permitting when I reach P/North - either continue to Taihape or turn around.

Road trip went well! Ended up going Hastings - Palmerston North - Feilding - Napier (back the same way as weather was too crap in Taihape according to all weather apps etc).

Rained the whole way to Palmy, drove through surface flooding, but no complaints. Car was happy at 100-110kmh the whole way.

Turns out it also leaks rainwater from the front windscreen - pools in the bottom centre of the screen between the seal and screen and drips down onto the carpet. Weird but didn't expect anything less.

Also managed to drive past Jared twice on the trip (apologies for not seeing you the first time)!

Anyway, here's a few videos for fun. Number two was today before storage

After scoring an axle off Ron 151 (thank you), it sat around home for a bit before I could get a chance to get it back to Hawke's Bay and work on it.

Finally that time came where I could, and I've spent the day changing rear axles and brake setups etc so everything should be working in time for a road trip to the Coromandel for Leadfoot in two weeks!

Here's a nice pic of the.. damage. Jared, you were right in guessing the spider gears would be in a million pieces

Yikes that photo must be a couple years old now!! Taken in Napier by the looks.

Also, may have plans later this year. Currently back in storage due to uni/work commitments. Watch this space
