looks like a GL, in other episodes there is a running joke that every time Hyacinth walks towards her sisters front door a dog barks at her from the old scrap Avenger and she falls into the hedge.

Yeh, the Allegro and Marinas generally had to be pushed a lot (mind you the marina van some say was good - as a van) at least the Avenger was moving!

the trick is that you get a van with the heavy duty mgb diff [good for rover 4.4Ls!] and put toyota running gear in it.

Here the pharmacist with unhealthy plans for his wife drives an Avenger, he has some mirrors on it, even dazzled the camera. This looks like the very early 1980's and the Beta system colour cameras they used then caught a lot of glare. I wonder did they shoot the scene where he pulls up by his house a few times? Mind you I don't think the side view mirror set up on that Avenger would be a good idea!
