So people saw what mine looked like (a bit corroded) and just said "you can buy them new"
but looking at buying new & the price I saw on a screen made my eyes water (over $60)
so hit Buy now on Ross's listing for a good second hand one & Top radiator pipe as spares ($55 inc Shipping combined)
then I saw this in another thread

here's what I've found with some google'ing
All aprox $40 + $32 shipping (all in Australian Money AU$)
On Ebay : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hillman-Avenger-1600cc-1725cc-4-Cylinder-OHV-Thermostat-Housing-WO20-KC-/272304784638 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hillman-Avenger-1600cc-1725cc-4-Cylinder-OHV-Thermostat-Housing-WO20-KC-/272304784638) aprox the $60 NZD Landed

this is apparently from a Hunter Arrow (Just a Hillman Hunter apparently) Same bolt pattern perhaps? & the one I saw at TOTP : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hillman-Hunter-Arrow-Royal-4Cy-New-Old-Stock-Factory-Thermostat-Housing-/282013296922?hash=item41a94d691a:g:lkgAAOSw-vlVjDn8&vxp=mtr (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hillman-Hunter-Arrow-Royal-4Cy-New-Old-Stock-Factory-Thermostat-Housing-/282013296922?hash=item41a94d691a:g:lkgAAOSw-vlVjDn8&vxp=mtr)
Which I assume you'd need the corresponding Top-pipe or something extra custom like that yuck flexi pipe
(http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/images/g/lkgAAOSw-vlVjDn8/s-l225.jpg)
and your more traditional Ebay shape I'm used to : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hillman-Avenger-1970-82-Thermostat-Housing-Kilkenny-WO20-/350572479056 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hillman-Avenger-1970-82-Thermostat-Housing-Kilkenny-WO20-/350572479056) (AU$40)

and this odd one too for a 1800 "Horizon" : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272319889173?clk_rvr_id=1146079607233&rmvSB=true (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272319889173?clk_rvr_id=1146079607233&rmvSB=true)
