Title: rocker shaft post query
Post by: colinh on November 03, 2016, 06:45:49 AM
People,

Does anyone recognise this thin shim / tube inserted into one of the rocker shaft posts.

As it happens its post #1, through which the oil feed passes, and the hole with the insert is the one which connects with the shaft bore - locking the shaft in place.

Only this rocker post has it.  Nothing shown in the manuals.

Is it a bodge ?

Ah that's it, I thought there was a dowel pin instead.
