Hey i was wondering what your opinion is on putting a RB20 in a Chrysler avenger GlS manual 1.6

After a lot of research a Sr20 or Rb20 will both be awesome but much out of my price range and difficulty, i am now thinking of a rotary engine like maybe 12A or something any thoughts ?

Just find a car with an Alpine engine and work the fuck out of it, then chuck on Delortos and a 5 speed Sierra. Way cooler than any transplant.

That 1600 MX5 motor only puts out 90hp Eldon, hardly an improvement over an 80hp Alpine for all the coin required!
Better to get a 130hp 1800 MX5 motor or hot up your existing motor, just change the cam, carbs and exhaust to get 100hp.

Hey guys thanks for all of your input, i have still not decided quite what i want to transplant..
just letting you know that i have bought another Avenger, its a Hillman Avenger 1971 and the engine is not running, i have possible future plans to turn it into a street/race car, this is the car i want to do the engine swap, i have another possible idea and that is a 4G63T, i know it is very possible to convert theese to Rwd, this is something i was looking at http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=737423997 (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=737423997) what do you think ? also i had another extreme idea which would be a Holden 3.8 Vr ?
