hi all, new to the forum, and avengers, allthough my older brother had 4 of them while i was growing up including a 2 door which are aparantly a bit rare.
i have recently purchased an 81 chrysler avenger estate 1.6 ls and as im sure most people have experienced, alot of dodgy repairs can occur in 30 odd years of a cars life.
1- someone has not so carefully siliconed in a pair of headlights that dont point in the correct direction so im after a set of 2nd hand genuine headlights or info on aftermarket upgrades if available
2- a tailgate handle (t-shaped) with lock and key, as the barrel has fallen out of the handle
3- rear left indicator/tail/brake lense
any help would be much apretiated

Hi Mat, welcome to the forum.
Congrats on buying the Avenger wagon. feel free to post some pictures or make a post in the members gallery section and tell us more about it.
as for your questions.
1- The headlights on the later model Chrysler Avengers are different to the Hillman ones and are unique to the Chryslers. That makes them a little harder to find. The wagon and sedan share the same headlight. Speedyspares.co.uk list them on their site http://speedyspares.co.uk/ROOTES/AVENGER/avenger%20reportPage5.html (http://speedyspares.co.uk/ROOTES/AVENGER/avenger%20reportPage5.html) We have a member who imports a lot of part in bulk so it is cheaper to order them through him, his name on the forum is avengerparts (aka Graeme)

2- The handles were the same on all the wagons, Hillman and Chrysler. I can't see the tailgate handle listed at speedy spares, they Graeme, if not the Horopito might be your best bet.
3- Same as with the tailgate handle, the tail lights are the same for all the wagons. These are becoming very hard to find, we had a member a while ago looking for one, I don't know if they found one. Again, try Graeme, if not then Horopito.
