Title: Avenger & Hunter Front shocks. Are they the same???
Post by: 1300super on February 20, 2013, 10:18:57 AM
Or at least similar with respect to tube size & body length? Basically I want to get them shortened but I don't see the point in getting my half rooted oil filled factory ones done...Also I don't like spending money & I can get avenger ones really cheap.

The Avenger and Hunter use the same front wheel bearings and the struts look pretty similar as seen on eBay.
Even if the Avenger strut doesn't fit, you maybe able to use the shock insert in your Hunter strut?

I'm selling new Avenger struts for $30 that are for the drum brake model, but the insert might fit a Hunter?
