Title: Mikey's Van has steering problems.

Heya people, how is everybody ?

With my Van, the steering has seem to of started to becme alot stiffer, especially when turning, It goes from Free flowing to a Jerking of tightness often, an its bludi annoying,

I want to sell her, as I have other projects and need more of a runnaround that doesn't need so much work.

Any ideas ?

Hey Mikey, my '79 did the same...caused by a dry steering universal!
It just needs a lube and is beside the starter motor.

The lubing dosnt always work, as i feel the uni. is TOO SMALL for the job it does especially when low speed lock to lock turning. I can supply new if ever needing part.

Yeah they are too small and just bushed, no rollers...look the same as a Mk3 Cortina one.
Saw an MGB one yesterday...much bigger with rollers!
