Nice looking Avengers.

Love the Tridents on both your Avengers. All the cool kids are rocking Tridents!

I have been watching your Trademe Auction for the last few months with great interest. Your 1980 is a very tidy car.

I remember reading in your first trademe auction that it was imported from UK. I was really interested by this, do you know more about the history of it?

Your other Avenger looks good lowered.

Are they both on the road or is the other one still a project?

Hey Cheers, Indeed Tridents rock! Yer she is a tidy one, wish I had more time to drive it and after finding this site I think im going to

take it off TM, No its NZ new, only the window louver came from the UK, my bad wording lol

Both of them are lowered, infact the GL sits lower due to the mix of tyres(185/70 rear)(175/70 front)

Both on the road, well sort of (reg on hold) I took the Super out today for a drive after doing some little jobs on it

Hey gota say love your cars, nice to see the Valiant along side the Avengers, my Brother had a 71 VH Pacer, it was great fun to drive

This site has inspired me, I thought I was the only Venger nut haha

Ah that makes more sense. I was wondering why somebody would import a UK 1.3GL when you could be it locally. It is a really nice car so I agree, take it off trademe and drive it more!

I like staggered sized tyres, I do it on my Charger except they are 245/60/R14 rear and 215/60/R14 front. It gives it a nive look with the slightly smaller front tyre, also help with these old non-power steering cars.

Thanks for the complement on the cars. I love my Valiant Charger, it is such a big cruise. I had it out today going to some car shows. It is so much different to my Avengers. My Avengers are hotted up little rockets, zippy and agile. And my Charger is like a big sleepy giant, bucket loads of torque and grunt but it lumbers along.

I would say I am a Todd Motors collector because all my Avengers and my Valiant are all Todd Motors cars. I say I would have owned over a dozen Todd Motors cars over the years. definitely the majority of my cars have been Todds.

Pacers are great. One of my mates is selling his mint 1971 VG Pacer. Soo nice but soo expensive. Starting bid on Trademe is $35,000. He had it out at the car shows today. I can't stop drooling over that car.

Another one of my mates had his VH Pacer he is restoring one of the other shows I went to today.

I know how you feel about thinking you are the only Avenger nut. I belong to a large MoPar group with my Charger but they except my Avenger as a MoPar reluctantly after years of me posting Avenger stuff but still I was the only one with an Avenger so I was majorly the odd one out.

But yeah I am totally floored by the number of Avenger fans we have here. I was fully expecting to have maybe 6 members for the first few months then one or two trickle in each month but it has completely blowen me away the amount of members is such a short time so big thanks to everyone for joining and making this site what it is.

Yeah I could imagine how you felt. I felt gutted when I crashed my '80 in to a bank at a hill climb. I rebuilt after that and it was good as new. there is pictures and videos of the crash under my '80 members gallery post.

Wow what a line up of Avengers! Yours and Kiera's Avengers look awesome in those photos.

Your Avenger looks much better than in your Trademe pictures. The colour looks amazing and so shiney.

Can't wait till I see both yours and Kiera's Avengers at the Wheels on Windsor car show next month.

Oh man, I am going to have to polish mine now.

Speaking of interior I want to see your front seats with out the covers on to see if the are the same as my ones.

I will be coming down on the Saturday so maybe we could all meet up on the Saturday and go for a little Avenger cruise or something before the big show on Sunday.
