Here's an interesting site with heaps of old Autocar road tests from 1960-88.
The Avenger ones are 3/4 of the way down.

Here's a review in Classic Motoring of the Avenger...pretty positive, just don't fit a sunroof!!

I totally agree. I don't know why someone did that to my V8 Avenger. Anyone got a spare roof?
