Well guys and girls, it's hard to belive that it has only been a year since I started the Avenger Forum way back on the 10/01/11.
It has been a really awesome year and I can belive how much we have grown as a club. If you had of asked me when we started this where we would be after a year then I would have guessed maybe a dozen members, two dozen at the most. But to have 88 members in the first year is mind blowing.
It is great to see members from all over the world share their passion for Avengers. So a really big thanks to all of you, you have made this forum a really awesome place and I couldn't ask for a better bunch of folk. Everyone on this forum is real friendly and it has a great family vibe.
I have really enjoyed our Avenger meets we have had over the year, at Wheels in Windsor, OS Nats and the Auckland mini meet. My goal for the next year is to have more meets. I know we planned to have a meet in January which sort of fell through due to ongoing projects with a bunch of Avengers, mine included.
I have had many great times like the epic road trips with Ross to OS Nats and Hawkes Bay, meeting up with Sam in the middle of my South Island trip and chatting about Avengers plus the Auckland and Hawkes Bay meets. I look forward to many more good times over the years to come.
So yeah thanks everyone for making this forum the great place it is.
i was thinking the other day that it musy be coing up a year. congrats richard! i'd be screwed without this website pretty much!

To have 157 members after just 2 years is amazing...it ensures Avengers will be around for many years to come!
I can't wait to celebrate the Avengers 50th birthday in 2020...we'll have to organise something outrageous...like close off Queen St and line up Avengers from one end to the other?!

haha. My car got totally covered in black crud from that fire. It was a bitch to clean off.
Age has its advantages Richard....that's why I parked mine in the bush well away from the fire and alcohol fueled pranksters...and also coz everyone was laughing at my wheel covers!
lulz the carpet in the hall was also a bitch to clean, lesson learnt!
Yeah I'm surprized we're allowed back...that carpet was a mess!!

Remember my brakes failed and locked on so I was towed back to the camp ground, they dumped my car near the fire so someone could fix it in the morning, luckly Clint fixed the problem for me.
Oh yeah...that's the disadvantage of age...poor memory...lol
