hey Kiera, may I ask, Why are you painting it? the paint on it looks fine? Please say its going to be a pro job and not a back yard spray gun job?

haha have u seen the car in real life (serious question, i really dont know if you have, my memory is shit) its patchy as from when the last girl changed locks and stuff, surface rust galore. its going to be the same colour, just all one colour. its a semi-pro job, im not going to spend big bucks on a paint job that is worth more than the car. my partner is just going to do it, he paints all his cars, and they turn out good, plus it couldnt be much worse than what it is

Nah I havnt seen it. Just it looked nice in the pics, are you using acrylic lacquer or Enamel? Usually you use a clear coat over lacquer for extra "glossyness."
