Hey Guys im in the process of putting my 1600 motor in, but im lacking a throttle cable & choke cable. has anyone got a twin Stromberg setup on there car? I need some pictures of the linkages on the carbs so I can make/copy them. and a picture of were the throttle cable attaches to the Accelerator pedal. Ive hunted around on the net but couldnt find anything. Anyone help?

you should be able to get away with choke on just one of the carbs and only use it for starting, then warm the engine up properly before heading off.
for the throttle, just get inventive with a throttle cable of anything (grab one from the wreckers, preferably with adjustments at each end). attach it to the pedal via a hole and slot. everything should be on those carbs to hook up the cable.
Pretty easy to use the accelerator pedal and cable off a later model Chrysler Avenger. There's one at Pick a Part Wtgn and lots at Smash Palace.
I already scopped out the one at pick a part for him, cable was already gone. pedal was there but I couldnt get it off for the life of me
drilled hole in top of your existing pedal and U-bolt ot / d-shackle styles
Awesome thanks guys. Ive got a escort throttle cable that Im going to try modify. It looks like it will work. Joker it looks like you only had one choke hooked up on yours? I guess I could give it a go.
yup only ever had 1 choke, even when I had it as my daily driver
