I'm just about to put new rubbers on the front and rear that i scored from aussie however they came with no filler strip. Do i need to get some? and if i do do they need to be avenger specific or just plain old filler strip.
the filler strip helps keep the rubber/window in place so id say yes u need them
doesnt avengerparts have these afaik in the uk its sold off the roll so i presume it isnt moulded to the rubber shape and wether or not there are different widths im again not positive,if i remember the old ones were in four parts top,2 sides and bottom all jioned with chrome corners.but then i do remember later series 7 avengers having one piece items.
it just spreads the rubber to aid sealing when fitted a little prongy tool fits it also.

I just got a fitting tool off ebay UK for 8 pounds...saves wrecking the rubber and paintwork using screwdrivers!
