Title: Jethros v8 1976 avenger build
Post by: jethro on October 19, 2018, 08:45:10 PM
Hi all I have pulled apart my avenger a good 3 or so years ago but only recently started to properly put some time and money into it which its great and i am enjoying it extremely. So this is what is happening, 3.5L rover v8 with a rb25det gearbox with edited bellhousing to fit and running rb clutch kit and rover flywheel lightend by 1 kg and then a shortened hilux diff that i rebuilt for the rear. I currently have the engine and gearbox sitting in the car with a strop holding the gear box and some engine mounts i have made, just waiting for the  certifier to give the go ahead so i can welding them up and make it permanent. If anyone has any advise id love to hear it
