South Island Motoring Museums

Gidday.
I am hoping to be heading overseas at Easter (to the South Island, to be precise!) and was wondering if members can recommend any decent Motoring museums or collections to visit. I won't be going to the Deep South, but hope to get to Timaru or similar, before going to that new motor racing circuit at Cromwell, and then up the West Coast.
Suggestions please?

There's an Avenger in the Wanaka Toy and Transport Museum...see this thread...

no avengers in wow in nelson but a worthwhile muesem to visit if you are in nelson you are welcome to come visit here in upper moutere,small fee to see scrap avengers ;D
