Welcome to the forum.

I remember seeing this pop up on Turners site down in Chch.

Very interesting colour. I don't think I have seen an Avenger in that colour before.

I think I remember the asking price being around $2400, what did you end up getting it for if you don't mind me asking.

Wow, That's really cheap for an Avenger.

With the late model Avengers it could be your electronic ignition module. I had problems with them. When I used to race they would get so hot they would melt the resin and short out. I don't think they liked 9,000RPM.

Before you paint yours do you mind telling us what the paint code is. It is a little code on the ID plate in the engine bay.

Like mine is AQ AQ T6, which means Aqua body, Aqua roof, Tan interior

Cool, Ross (oldschool) was right about the colour of your car, he said it was Sherwood Green.

VP is the vinyl roof colour (Same as Ross' Alpine)

T7 must be a different style of Tan interior, both my Avenger are T6, I had a parts car which was T1 (thats where I got my high back bucket seats from) and I have also seen a T3 but never a T7. Must be a new style they brought out near the end.

Not sure what models my Volvo brakes came from. I did the original mod on my race car in the early 2000's then just swapped the calipers over to my '75. I could find out for you.

I was forced to strip the vinyl off an Alpine - real sad because it had that real 70s brown / cream vinyl thing going on - and I think you will find it is just undercoated under there. Plus the glue is impossible to get off. (I just Matt Blacked over the whole lot!)
Chill Datto, bro!
