I thought it would be a good idea to see which year Avenger is most common amongst collectors.

A little from column A, a little from column B.
-
1971 body with a 1973 motor, 1977 box and 1978 interior. Though the car the box came out of originally was an automatic so...
Maybe a "Roughly 1970-80ish" option might be in order?
-
lol body of mine is 73 so calling it that :D
-
I would say just go for the body age :)
Mine is a bit the same, '75 body, '73 motor, '80-90's ford sierra box, '75 interior from a different Avenger.
-
1975's were its at
-
1973, 1980!

75 is totally where its at. mines not so much made of different years worth of cars, as it is different kinds of cars. lol

All three of my Avengers are registered in 1973, but all of them were built in 1972. Lucky for me, as all pre 1973 built Avengers have free road tax in the UK.
